Take a break and sing some songs, either using YouTube for assistance (you can use my Videos page for assistance for this) or sing them together as you do party of your families daily routine (chores, etc). Most of these videos would be better viewed for audio, rather than visual, as it will be easy for your child to become preoccupied with the animations.

1. Make a model of a quilt square with a pattern of shapes inside. Have your child cut out shapes with construction paper to cover the pattern.

- 1 yellow square (2" x 2")
- 4 blue squares (2" x 2")
- 16 triangles (2" x 2" squares that have been halved diagonally, and halved again diagonally) in the following colors: 4 green triangles (1 square), 8 red triangles (2 squares), 4 blue triangles (1 square)
